LY3500 Industrial-Grade High-Capacity Reinforced Multi-Station Two-Piece Folder Gluer Production Line
As a seasoned manufacturer of the 3500 Multi-Station Two-Piece Folder Gluer, I’m here to share why this machine is a game-changer for your packaging line. Designed for high-speed,...
Description
In today’s demanding packaging market that requires large formats and flexible workflows, the LY-3500 Multi-Station Two-Piece Semi-Automatic Folder Gluer Machine serves as a highly cost-effective and strategic solution for high-performance production.
Engineered for large-scale, complex two-piece folding cartons, this heavy-duty machine combines a 7.0-ton reinforced frame with an 11000×4500×1600 mm footprint, supporting substrates up to 1750×1700 mm. It delivers a stable foundation for high-speed operation by integrating automated splicing with multi-operator workflow efficiency.
Multi-Station Teamwork for Multiplied Output
Unlike traditional single-station machines operated by one person, the LY-3500 adopts a multi-station discharge system that enables multiple operators to work simultaneously.
While the machine completes high-speed feeding, alignment, and gluing automatically, folding and squaring are distributed across several workers. This parallel workflow ensures manual output matches machine speed, eliminating downstream bottlenecks.
Semi-Automatic Advantage: Manual Folding and Squaring
The design removes rigid fully automatic folding and squaring units, replacing them with manual stations to enhance flexibility.
The machine handles servo feeding, hot/cold hybrid gluing, and precise splicing. Once blanks are merged and discharged, operators complete folding and squaring manually.
This semi-automatic structure is ideal for irregular cartons, extra-thick boards, and heavy corrugated materials that fully automatic systems often cannot process reliably.
Core Workflow & Technical Highlights
Feeder Section — Large-Format Dual Feeding
Supports a maximum stack height of 450 mm and a size range from 1750×1700 mm to 350×200 mm. Independent servo-driven dual feeding systems combined with vortex suction ensure stable, jam-free operation while reducing board surface damage.
Gluing Section — Cold & Hot Hybrid Bonding
An automated roller system applies cold glue and hot melt adhesive simultaneously, ensuring both instant tack and long-term bonding strength. Dual glue cylinders and secondary micro-alignment eliminate millisecond-level positioning errors before splicing.
Splicing Section — Servo Merging & Compression
Four 50 mm belt lines driven by dual servo motors, combined with photoelectric sensors, ensure precise seam alignment. Steel pressing balls with protective covers enhance bonding strength, prevent delamination, and reduce operational noise.
Strategic Operational Advantages
Parallel Multi-Operator Efficiency
The discharge layout supports multiple operators working in parallel, significantly increasing throughput compared to single-operator systems.
Heavy-Duty Structural Integrity
A 7.0-ton anti-vibration frame and 5 kW main motor ensure stable high-speed operation, long-term precision, and reduced mechanical wear.
High Versatility & Low Waste
Manual folding improves adaptability for complex carton shapes, while precise photoelectric tracking reduces misalignment and scrap rate, improving material efficiency and profitability.
Application
Oversized Corrugated Carton Production
This machine is specially designed for ultra-large carton manufacturing that ordinary single-piece folder gluers cannot process, it realizes stable double-board splicing and precise gluing to produce complete large-size packaging boxes.
