Many follow-up conveyor sections can also be paired with an optional cylinder pressure regulation system, which lets the operator fine-tune how much pressure the section applies based on board thickness or flute type. Heavier double-wall board and lighter single-wall stock don't respond the same way to a fixed pressure setting, so being able to adjust that variable — on top of automating the length adjustment — gives a folder gluer more room to handle a broader range of jobs without manual recalibration between them.
There's also a training and staffing angle worth noting.
